Numbers and Hebrew Letters

According to Numerology everything that happens in Nature takes place in cause and effect events that are encrypted (in Greek: kryptós, “hidden”, and gráphein, “written”) naturally through numbers. Everything that has already happened, is happening and could happen is mysteriously encrypted by Mother Nature.
The science of numbers is the key to understanding the rhythms undertaken by nature, this science has been present in humanity since all times, hidden by some to the detriment of the common interests.
Our birth dates work as a print, digital mark or cosmic signature that we carry for all life, conditioning us. Our names transformed into numbers through a code of letter numbers, since or as old as the Cuneiform Writing, allow us to understand the three main aspects of personality: the Motivation, which reflects its essence, the intimate; the Impression, which reflects the image projected in the ego; the Expression, which reflects the general characteristics of the personality, its talents and aptitudes.
However, the name reveals much more than just that. The values of numbers and letters identify the metaphysical essence of things, our gifts and talents, aptitudes and potentialities; challenges, obstacles, opportunities and circumstances to which we will be exposed throughout life; what we bring from the past (from other lives), and what our future will look like.
Our existence is encrypted (in Greek: kryptós, “hidden”, and gráphein, “written”) in numbers, and it is possible to decipher these codes through Kabbalistic Numerology. The Pythagorean system is a vulgar numerological version, while the Kabbalistic is a transliterated version of Gematria, of Kabbalah, also known as Chaldean System, in many countries.

It is equivalent to a transformation of the mental and psychic forces and to emotional maturity. The Arcane of Force warns of the need to soften the tone of our aggressiveness, giving attention to our aspects of our brutal nature, in order to educate them in the service of our evolution. It exposes an action of courage and faith.

Lamed

(THE HANGING) – It points to resignation to the plane of the higher law. The force of gravitation is inverted, impelling man towards the spiritual life. Earthly gravitation attracts to power, possession, tyranny, selfishness; spiritual gravitation attracts to detachment, resignation; to renunciation of the world and obedience to the supreme laws of evolution. This does not imply despising the world, but detaching from it to enjoy the best of life in it – spirituality. The arcane of the Hanged Man warns of a powerful force of destiny that may come into play at any moment as a call to spiritual initiation. This call may occur by a sign, by a subtle feeling emerging from the soul through one’s own intuition, or it may come through a debacle in material life endeavors.

Mem

(THE DEATH) – Points to the constant process of death and rebirth that life proposes to us, in the metaphysical sense and in the real sense, transforming the consciousness for its psychic awakening. In the metaphysical sense it implies a change of attitude towards life; a death of the ego and the acceptance of the transforming experience, which can come either in the form of a new learning, an accident, or a serious illness. In its real sense it is when the departure to the other side of life literally happens. The arcane of Death warns about the psychic sleep of the consciousness asleep in the illusions of materiality; it proposes the rebirth to a more spiritualized life, as it reminds us that every day we die a little and are reborn.

Nun

(THE TEMPERANCE) – Points to the order of thought concerning polarity and the possibilities it affords us for spiritual knowledge and realization. The creative energies of life cannot flow through the channels chosen by the ego, however reasonable the justifications of the conscious mind may be. They follow the determining flow of life for the purposes for which they are intended in our evolution. The arcane of Temperance warns of the flow of consciousness between the two poles of life – the spiritual and the material; between the higher self and the conscious ego. It offers us fluidity and adaptability to the new conditions of life after a process of transformations.

Samech

(THE DEVIL) – Points to the secrets of the fire of passions and the intoxication of the ego on the path to spiritualization. To deal with evil, we must preserve ourselves at a certain distance, if we want to avoid the risk of getting caught up in it and having our creative impulses paralyzed, and even worse, the risk of supplying the bad guys with weapons. Without freedom to choose there can be no true morality, however, no choice should be made on the impulse of ego desires or the burning passions of sensuality. The Devil’s arcane warns of the danger of ego rebellion that wishes to override divine laws by establishing a new order in the spiritualization of man – egolatry or ego spirituality. It is the shadow behind the light, which we often do not perceive precisely because it is behind us.

Ayin

(THE TOWER) – It points to the evil that has its origin in man’s soul rooted in selfishness. The soul comprises the field of consciousness and intelligence by which man guides himself in life while incarnated. Intelligence that is developed without morals, without ethics, induces the soul to incline toward evil and leads man to the fall. The good man lives next to the evil man, not because he loves evil, but because he wants to help his fellow man to rise and triumph. This is the true exercise of humility. The selfish man will attract his own downfall so that he learns to be humble. The arcane of the Tower warns of the danger of the impasses of specialization; it warns of the risks involved in applying sciences and philosophies to the construction of “Towers of Babel” – “We must not build; we must grow.”

Peh

It portrays a harmonious life. The arcane of the Star warns us to observe that there is a relationship between the course of earthly events and the celestial bodies – “What is below is analogous to what is above.”

Tsade

(THE MOON) – Points to a spiritual exercise, a meditation on what inner elements of the psyche are scrambling the evolutionary movement with a tendency to reverse its direction. The intellect of the ego plunged into the deepest abyss of depression, to contact the darkest and dankest aspects of the psyche, registers the meeting of the mask of the persona with the reality of the individuated self, which aspires for its enlightenment. To descend into the depths of the psyche means to be deprived of the guidance of daylight – for some it is the dark night of the soul. The arcane of the Moon warns that the path is clearly ahead of us; that darkness is only the absence of light; that the psychic dive tends to strengthen the soul for the next event of spiritual enlightenment.

Koph

(THE SUN) – Points to the union of intelligence and spontaneous wisdom – it is the arcane of intuition. Intuition arises from the intimate union between intelligence and spontaneous wisdom, as one of the senses of the soul. This transcendent intuitive experience of self, however, does not yet allow us to perceive the spiritual world and become conscious of it. It is still necessary to perceive and become conscious of other transcendent selves, many of which are superior to us. It is a new sunny childhood, where life is no longer a challenge that needs to be overcome, but an experience to be enjoyed. The Sun arcane warns that we can regain the inner harmony, which we felt as children before the opposites cruelly broke us into pieces, separating us from ourselves and from each other. It portrays the recovery of innocence; the moment when we leave behind formal dogmas and enter the sunny world of direct experience of pure knowledge.

Resch

(THE JUDGEMENT) – Points to a call to the spiritual exercise of enlightenment, in which the maximum use of intuition becomes necessary. It suggests the final call for a passage into the spiritual life through the judgment that the consciousness experiences as it encounters a greater range of perceptions, whereby it is faced with wider areas of choices and a sharper sense of responsibility. The arcane of Judgment warns that there will be successive judgments, and successive rebirths before the final victory over the World is achieved. Each night and each day are experiences of death and rebirth giving the consciousness the opportunity to make its own judgments and choices.

Tau

(THE WORLD) – It points to the creative impulse of heart and life that is envisioned by those who have reached the gateway to their inner world. That world is now understood as a permanent state of expanding consciousness, into which all creatures, of all manifestations of nature, are inserted, as each being a particular world, but in the interweaving of all consciousnesses, things and creatures are revealed as one World. On a lower level is the world of illusions, desires, pleasures and sex. On a higher level it is the spiritual world that manifests itself as material reality. The World arcana warns that each human being must find his own key to the geometry of life. One who searches for his inner realm, for his soul, and follows the destiny laid out for him will find everything else by addition.

The number Twenty-Two is known as a good number when it comes to spirituality, however, in other fields of earthly life, it is usually a symbol of madness, false judgment, arrogance, and catastrophe. In Destructiveness – Madness.

In Synthesis – Practicality.

(THE FOOL) – Points to the potentials of our spiritual nature, possible to be realized, or manifested, because the arcane of the Fool can be either 0 (zero) or 22. It is the union of opposites, of discursive intellectuality and illuminating spirituality. In other words, the union of human wisdom, which is madness in the eyes of God, with divine wisdom, which is madness in the eyes of men, in such a way that it results in only one wisdom, which understands both what is below and what is above. “Let no one be deceived – if anyone among you thinks he is wise in the sight of this world, let him become foolish to be wise; for the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God.” – Paul, 1 Cor 3:18-19. The arcane of the Fool warns that the wisdom of the world only leads to being a fool; to achieve the true realizing power of all our spiritual potentials we must become as if we were foolish in the eyes of the world. That is, to assume our condition as spiritual beings disidentifying ourselves from the temporary personality.
