Besides the original Lagna (ascendant) in the D1 birth chart, in Vedic Astrology several other ascendants are observed, among them we can highlight:
The Lunar Lagna chart which is also used to study the strength of any Graha by seeing its position from the Lunar ascendant.
The Dasha Lagna chart which arises from the ruling planet of the Dasha in which a person is.
In Jaimini (Vedic Astrology modality) the Arudha Lagna is used a lot, which shows the image that someone projects to the world, being what the world really sees, although some see it as illusion. The concept of Arudha Lagna can be applied to any Divisional chart, for example, in Divisional chart D10 will show the image in society.
