The Kama Bhavas (Houses) show the desires, that which moves people’s intentions, and are thus called houses three, seven and eleven.
In the case of the Marka Bhavas we identify the things that suck our energy and recognize the aspects of life that demand vital force from us and that take energy from us, we call the second, seventh and eighth Marka Bhavas.
The Trick Bhavas are so called because they inflict disappointment as to the fulfillment of desires, granting the object of desire, but taking from the person, granting the object of desire in the first four years of a Dasha and then suddenly taking it away. We call the third, sixth, and eleventh houses Trick Bhavas (Houses).
Now we can see that the third house carries characteristics of a Kama and Trick Bhava, showing the desires and being able to grant and take away afterwards. The seventh house has characteristics of Kama and Marka Bhava, revealing the desires, but at the same time being the house that takes away more energy and vital force from an individual throughout life, taking away vitality. The eleventh house has the characteristic of being Kama and Trick Bhava, showing one’s deepest desires and being able to grant and then take away what is desired. Finally, we have already seen in a previous article that the second house has the characteristic of being Artha Bhava, and now we know that it is also Marka.
